Main screen

During the 1st installation, Rambler loads a sample data set (POI and routes). Take a look at them, and press the ‘New’ button to delete. In case you need them one more time, you can clear the application data, or uninstall and reinstall the application.

On the main screen you’ll find 3 areas:

  1. Status bar – shows the current location accuracy, and your license status. If you’ve just bought and installed the pro version, it may be necessary to leave the application, and enter again to get the license status refreshed.
  2. Latest and cumulative statistics of your trips/workouts. This will only work when some Android Wear watch is connected. Stats data are being calculated on the watch, and transmitted to the phone when you reach your destination or stop navigation manually.
  3. GPX data status, managers buttons, and file menu buttons.

At the very bottom of the screen you’ll see Id of connected wearable device. If no watch is connected, you can still use all the GPX edition features.

Main screen menu contains some additional entries. Most of them are self-explanatory, but pay attention to:

  • Active watch face‘ and/or ‘Classic watch face‘ entry below. Those will launch companion configuration applications, which are described in their own chapter. Both watch faces configs are also available in the Android Wear app watch faces settings.
  • ‘Common settings’ entry leads to the menu common for both watch faces.
